Hector, Carlos, Frederick and Gordo!

Gotta check this out!! NCS Members Hector, Carlos and Frederick will be featured guests at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum at Ohio State University.

Join them on Saturday, January 20 for a reception to celebrate the opening of this exhibition and a program featuring Lalo Alcaraz, Hector D. Cantú, Carlos Castellanos and Frederick Luis Aldama.

Congratulations new NCS member Dr. Michael Egan!

Michael Egan, PhD was born in South Africa at the height of the apartheid era. He quickly became involved in the underground resistance movement, knew Nelson Mandela and other prominent revolutionaries, some of whom later moved into privileged positions formerly occupied by whites.

Eventually Michael started expressing his opinions as political art, and has been a member of the National Cartoonists Lone Star Chapter for some time now, Recently he was accepted as a full member of the NCS.

Congratulations Michael!

A BIG Texas Welcome to Frederick Aldama!

Professor Aldama is the Humanities and Affiliate Faculty in Radio-TV-Film, and director of the Latinx Pop Lab at the University of Texas, Austin. Frederick is a long time member of the National Cartoonists Society and new member of the Texas Cartoonists. Check out his work here.
