One of the great advantages of being a member of the Texas Cartoonists is attending the annual get-together with members from around the state. Well, it’s that time again. If you’re interested in joining the group please contact Hector Cantu, our chapter chair. If you’re already a member, be sure to plan on attending the event on August 3rd.
Friends, you have about two more weeks to see Donnie Pitchford’s “Wonderful World of Comics” exhibit at Panola College in Carthage, Texas! If you can’t make it, tell your friends! Maybe Donnie will give you the deluxe tour while you’re there.
Young people are important to the Texas Cartoonists Chapter—you’ll be the next generation carry on our proud traditions, and help us stay contemporary at the same time. You’ll bring new ideas and new talent to our group, and be an inspiration to all of us.
We’ll be proud to welcome you to our group. And no matter what part of the state you live in, you’ll find someone you can connect with. We have annual meetings once or twice a year, and encourage local meetings as often as possible. We know you’ll love meeting and associating with some of the top professionals in the business.
